Thank you so much for your faithfulness in helping the hungry in our own back yards. We had a very successful Souper Bowl Food Drive for the Argyle Food Bank. They haven't been able to tally up all of the food just yet, so we don't have any numbers, but we are confident that we surpassed our goal of two tons of food! Again, thank you! This Sunday we will continue our sermon series Final Words from the Cross. Join us as we learn about when Jesus said "Today you will be with me in Paradise" which can be found in Luke 23:32, 39-43. I pray that you will join us this weekend for a time of fellowship and worship. Grace & Peace, Kory |

The March mission for Mission Possible Kids will be to stamp Easter invitations that will be passed out to the congregation following Sunday services on March 25th and April 1st. All Eyes on Cameroon: In February 2008 the first team of trained eye professionals and support volunteers met missionaries in Cameroon to set up their first Eye Clinic. Cameroon is a country on the west central coastline of Africa. Its people are largely poor, typically eating only one meal per day. Kids in Cameroon have a disproportionally high incidence of eye problems, most likely as a result of their poor diet. Help Mission Possible Kids change the lives of these children by donating old eyeglasses or sunglasses, prescription or non-prescription, for children or adults. We will then clean them up and ship them to Cameroon where they can give the gift of vision to other kids! A drop box will be placed at the Welcome Center for your convenience. Should you have any questions, contact Amy Newlan at Amy@Newlan.com. Zone 56: Zone 56 will meet this Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. for food, fellowship, and some Angry Birds-style fun! See you there! Happy Facebook February! Zone 56ers have until Wednesday, February 29 to get about 35 more "likes" on their new facebook page. If they can make it, we will celebrate with an ice cream party Wednesday night. Help them out! Click Here and like our page today! (You can also search for "Zone 56 at Argyle UMC" under pages.)
