The Student Ministry at Argyle Methodist exists to encourage and facilitate the Christian faith of junior high and high school students in and around Denton County. We believe that the only way students can successfully face their current and future challenges and decisions is with an authentic and dynamic relationship with God through Jesus Christ as their Savior.
We currently minister to over 125 different students from 8 different school campuses. Through large worship gatherings, small groups, retreats, fellowship events, local and foreign mission trips and intentional community networking, our church has been able to reach families inside and outside the church for Jesus Christ. We’ve also been able to provide a model for the greater church in areas of worship, small groups and missions.

Weekly Scheduled Activities
Sunday School
Schedule: Sundays at 11:00 a.m.
Description: Seventh graders meet Portable 5 for Confirmation. 8-12th grade students meet in Portable 1.
STUWO (pronounced Stu-wo) - Student Worship
Schedule: Wednesdays 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Portable 5
Description: A midweek worship service for middle school students. Elements include Bible lesson, small groups, music and games. Come early to play XBox 360 or hang out with friends.
High School SMOUPs
Schedule: Wednesdays @ 7:00 pm (different homes around town)
Descrption: Home-based midweek gathering for high school students. We'll have food, Bible study, fellowship and really nice people all around. Hope you'll come check it out!
Sunday Night Live
Schedule: Sundays from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Description: Sunday night event for high school students. Elements include a meal, Bible study, fellowship and music.
Other Related Activities
Student Worship Team
Our students are a part of the teams leading worship for youth events and full-church modern services. Jon is working to get all students with an interest in leading worship involved with something worship-related.
