Wednesday Morning Women’s Bible Study – No Other Gods, Confronting Our Modern Day Idols
"A few years ago I was feeling stuck; stuck with God, people, career, living space, finances, and convictions. I constantly cried out to God, "Please deliver me." Where was God? What was my life supposed to look like? Is this as good as it is going to get? Though somewhat unaware, I had been depending on false gods that were at the bottom of much of my pain. I was not ready for the simplicity of God’s remedy; He wanted to be God in my life." I have paraphrased for Kelly Minter, the author of this study. Have you ever felt empty and were looking for something, but didn’t know what it was. Take this study with me and we will discover what you are searching for and share some recipes of life. Join Kelly Graeber Wednesdays beginning January 11th at 9:30 a.m. in Portable 4. Workbooks are $15. To register contact Kelly Graeber at KellyG@ArgyleUMC.org or 214.529.2357.
