Blessing of the Animals

Over the weekend of October 6th & 7th, 2018, we will celebrate the animals that make our lives special. Animals of all kinds, leashed or caged, are welcome to receive a special blessing in honor of St Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals.

We will be visiting three of our neighborhoods on October 6th with blessings and treats for pets and people. On October 7th, we will hold a Blessing of the Animals at AUMC at 6:30 p.m.

The schedule for each neighborhood we will visit on October 6 is as follows:

10 a.m.- Robson Ranch

1 p.m.- Harvest

3 p.m.- Lantana

If you are not comfortable bringing your pet, bring a photo or stuffed animal. Not a pet owner? Bet you know neighbors and other friends who are- help us spread the word that the entire community is invited to participate!

Blended & Blessed

A powerful, one-day live-stream event presented by FamilyLife, for couples, single parents, and dating couples in blended families with some of today’s most trusted and respected experts. This could be a great outreach opportunity to blended families in our community and nourishing for those in our congregation. It will provide solid, biblical teaching that speaks to the specific needs step couples are facing. The hope is for couples, single parents and dating couples, to get to know others in similar situations to form friendships and support systems.
