The University of North Texas is taking action to address food insecurity among its students, and is doing so with a vision of partnership and community building. The Dean of Students Office has established a pantry that will provide an accessible on-campus food source for students in need. Argyle UMC will partner with the pantry and try to stock an entire month. The pantry serves around 80-100 students each month. With our goal of impacting the lives of 2500 Young Adults, we invite you to participate in service and life changing mission by collecting the items needed or donating fund.
You can drop off non-perishable items and toiletries at the church on Sundays throughout September. If you would like to donate money, you can write a check to AUMC with UNT Food Drive in memo and we will then purchase additional non-perishable items to take to UNT.
