During Lent at Argyle UMC, we are on a “Journey to the Cross” and we invite you join us as we offer ourselves and our donations to local and global ministries so God may transform the world through the steps we take in generosity and service.
Each week, we invite you to donate towards the weekly mission. Each week in our journey, we will increase our donation by $1 or more and share the impact of this ministry.
DECEMBER 15 | CONCERT 7:30 pm
Our choir is hosting a Christmas Concert with a love offering going directly to the hurricane relief fund. Come and enjoy an orchestra, hand-bells, lessons and carols, and an anthem that Anastasia Markina has composed and dedicated to our church. If you are interested in joining the choir only for this cantata, you are welcome!
UP Angels is our Christmas angel tree mission. We provide toys, clothing, and necessities for families in Argyle and Denton. You can adopt a child or family! This sweet mission provides Christmas blessings to many families.
UP ministry adopts angels from Argyle and Denton each Christmas. This year, we are hoping to bless close to 200 kids, so we need your help! You can adopt one or two kids or an entire family. We can also take monetary donations if you don’t have time to shop.
You will be able to pick-up a tag in the church foyer starting on November 19th until December 3rd. The tags will be on the tree after Thanksgiving, but will be available the week before in case anyone wants to take advantage of the deals after Thanksgiving. Return all gifts, unwrapped, by Sunday, December 10th no later than 11am. Please include your tag so we know which child your gifts are for.
Thank you for blessing these kids during the Christmas season!
During our Living Rich sermon series, we invite you to Live Generously and Give Generously with your life. On Sunday October 29th, you will have an opportunity to give generously by donating blood to Carter Bloodcare. You must bring your photo ID to donate. With this act of Generosity, each person who is donating is contributing to at least 3 lives.
