Feed My Starving Children

Our process is simple. Donations given by people just like you fund the meal ingredients. Volunteers hand-pack the meals. Meals are donated to FMSC food partners around the world, where kids are fed and lives are saved!

We are so happy to be part of the mission t Feed My Starving Children to ensure that undernourished children around the world are able to receive the nutritional meals they need. At Argyle UMC, you and your family can play a very important and hands-on role in the FMSC process. There are monthly opportunities to join other volunteers from Argyle UMC to pack healthy meals at the FMSC Richardson, TX facility. This is a great family volunteer opportunity that kids at young as 5 are able to be part of!

Shiloh Food Pantry at Denton Wesley Foundation

At Shiloh Food Pantry, we make it our goal to make sure no college student goes hungry. As they work to better their future by attending classes, we do more than just help make sure the pantry stays full for students at UNT, TWU, and NCTC. We also have volunteers help at the pantry throughout the month to organize the pantry, help students shop and serve students a lunch.

  • Serve Lunches | 1st & 3rd Thursdays | 11:30 AM- 1 PM

  • Groceries | 1st & 3rd Fridays | 1 PM- 3 PM

UP Ministry

UP Ministry provides support, mentorship and supplies to at-risk kids in Denton County. They offer support to these students throughout the year with numerous food and supply drives, a mentorship program with their partner, Communities in Schools (CIS) and an Angel tree for Christmas. No matter the time of year, UP has a way you can help make a difference in the life of a child in your very own community.
