Our Church
A family for every generation, a home for everyone.
Argyle United Methodist Church is a family that spans generations, walks of life, and seasons of faith. Whether you've called Argyle home for decades or you're just now finding your way through our doors, we hope you'll discover a church that feels like it was waiting for you.
A Church for Every Generation
From our nursery and Kingdom Kids Preschool to Argyle Kids, Argyle Youth, MERGE, and the small groups that meet all across Argyle, we believe every stage of life has a place in the story God is writing here. Grandparents worship alongside grandchildren, longtime members mentor newcomers, and our Sunday mornings are full of the noise, laughter, and life that only a truly multi-generational church can offer. We don't just make room for different ages and stages under one roof — we believe we need each other, and that our church is stronger and more faithful because of it.
All Are Welcome
No matter where you are in your journey of faith — whether you've been in church your whole life or you've never set foot in one — you are welcome here. We believe God's grace is for everyone, and we try to make that obvious from the moment you walk in: come as you are, ask the questions you're afraid to ask, and know that you belong before you ever believe a certain way or look a certain part. Our Traditional and Modern worship services, and the many small groups in between, mean there's more than one way to find your place.
Serving Our Community
We believe faith is meant to be lived out, not just talked about. Through our CARE Ministry and our missions partnerships — locally and around the world — Argyle UMC shows up for our neighbors in tangible ways: meeting practical needs, building relationships, and pointing people toward the love of Jesus. Serving isn't an occasional program here; it's part of who we are, from students on a mission trip to volunteers serving right here in Argyle.
Growing in Faith, Together
We were never meant to do this alone. Our small groups and Life Groups give people of every age a place to ask honest questions, study scripture, and build real friendships — the kind that carry you through the hard seasons of life, not just the easy ones.
Rooted in the United Methodist Tradition
As part of the worldwide United Methodist Church, we're connected to a family of congregations united by a shared commitment to grace, scripture, and service. That connection roots our worship and our mission in something bigger than ourselves, while our own church family remains distinctly, warmly Argyle.
